First Contact Performance Series (2019)

First Contact was produced by Ryan Black and encompasses both a live music experience with interactive video game-like audience participation that drives projected visuals. The original music ranges from pop to synth-driven grooves, Latin funk to classic Chicago House music. The programmed visuals take audience members on a journey with the band. Every performance is a different, organic experience.

The show presents boundary-pushing talent including musicians, programmers, and visual artists, who are focused on elevating the modern live show experience at the intersection of video games and dance music.
